A Wonderful New Video

The Rev. Peter Kavanaugh, Priest at St. Benedict Orthodox Church, Wichita Falls, Texas, has released an excellent new video on Western Orthodoxy and its place within the fullness of the Holy Orthodox Church. Father's presentation is down-to-earth, articulate, and heart-felt, and is rooted not only in historical and theological study, but also in his own experience as both an Eastern and a Western Orthodox Christian. His evangelical zeal for articulating the heart and the breadth of Orthodoxy to the contemporary western world shines through his presentation and makes a compelling case for the importance of authentic and dynamic Western Orthodoxy as a vehicle for the recovery of all that was -- and should be again -- the goodness, the truth, and the beauty that Orthodoxy contributed to the first 13 centuries of Christian praxis, devotion, music, and art in western culture.
